Tuition & Fees Policy: 2020-2021 

At Fellowship Christian School, we strive to make it possible for every child to have a Christian education, regardless of financial means. Please speak with us, if you would like your child to attend.  We would love to help you!

Current Annual Tuition Rates

  • Payable in full (annual rate paid in full by August 1, 2020)—Receive a 3% discount if paid with cash or check (applies to Regular Rate only)
  • Payable in 2 equal installments (2 equal installments, due August 1, 2020 & January 1, 2021)
  • Payable in 10 equal, consecutive, monthly installments (annual rate split up over 10 consecutive months), beginning August 1, 2020  Monthly payments must be paid through EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). EFT must be set up no later than July 1, 2020.  Set up through Quickbooks.
  • Tuition is not discounted/pro-rated due to attendance, school closures, breaks or choice of early withdrawal/un-enrollment.  Our tuition is an annual fee that can be split up into 10 equal installments, according to the details above, to make it easier for families to afford.  Please refer to the entire Tuition & Fees Schedule for total fees due.

Due Dates

All payments are due on the 1st of every month, with a grace period of no later than the 5th of every month.  If the 5th falls on a non-school day, invoices must be paid ahead of time.  This deadline is to ensure all serving staff members are paid on time, school bills are paid on time and necessary supplies & materials are able to be purchased.

Late Payments

  • Payments received 6-29 days late will be assessed a $20.00 late fee.
  • Payments received 30+ days late will receive an additional $30.00 late fee.  Payments that are more than 30 days past due will also result in immediate student un-enrollment, unless arrangements have been set up with the office/Director.
  • NSF/Returned Check will result in an additional $30 NSF fee plus any additional incurred expenses from the bank.

If you are unable to make a timely payment (by no later than the 5th), please contact the office ahead of time. Our goal is to keep your family at Fellowship so that we can continue to bless one another with His Word, so please be sure to contact us. 

Annual Fees: 

Enrollment Fee (non-refundable): $350 per student, includes

  • Registration fee: $100 total, for the entire family (annually), due at the time of registration. Registration will not be considered complete until the registration fee is paid. This allows Fellowship to process all paperwork, plan for the upcoming school year, as well as complete any needed pre-assessments.  Non-refundable fee.
  • Curriculum fee: $200 per student (annually)–$200 due at time of registration.  It is important that this fee be received on time so that Fellowship can have adequate time to purchase needed curriculum/books (prevent extra spending on rush orders) as well as plan for the upcoming school year.  Non-refundable fee.
  • Technology fee: $50 per student (annually)–$50 due at time of registration.  This fee is put towards additional school technology (Chromebooks, computers, science equipment, classroom equipment, etc.). Non-refundable fee.

Building fee: $250 per student (annually)–$250 due July 1, 2020.  This fee is put towards the upkeep and cost of the building. Non-refundable fee.

Volunteer fee: Due September 1, 2020

  • $270 per family (annually), regular rate —$270 due September 1, 2020.  This fee is credited back towards family accounts on a monthly basis if the family volunteers the required 1 hour per month.  Credits will not be given ahead of time and will be given in 1 hour increments each month.
  • $540 per family (annually), reduced or scholarship rate —$540 due September 1, 2020.  This fee is credited back towards family accounts on a monthly basis if the family volunteers the required 2 hours per month.  Credits will not be given ahead of time and will be given in 2 hour increments each month.

Other Fees

Retreat Fees:

  • 4th & 5th Grade Day Retreat: $50 per student (annually)—$50 due by January 1st, 2020.  This fee is for the annual 4th & 5th Grade day retreat.  This fee needs to be paid on time in order to help ensure reservations can be booked well in advance.
  • High School Overnight: $100 per student (annually)–$100 due by October 1st, 2020.  This fee is for the annual overnight trip, for the high school class.  If students do not go on the trip, pre-assigned work must be completed from home and is due no later than when we return from the Overnight. This trip is an opportunity for students to come together and pray together, worshipping the Lord in a peaceful place, learning to surrender their lives over to Him.

Class Fees (Electives-Middle & High School Students):

  • Art Fee (Middle & High School): $20 per student, due by September 1st, 2020
  • Culinary Arts Fee (Middle & High School): $20 per student, due by September 1st, 2020
  • Build Fee (Middle & High School): $20 per student, due by September 1st, 2020
  • Drama/Theater Fee (Middle & High School): $20 per student, due by September 1st, 2020
  • Science Lab Kit Fee (Middle & High School): $20 per student, due by September 1st, 2020
  • Outdoor Skills Class Fee (Middle & High School): $20 per student, due by September 1st, 2020
  • Business Entrepreneurship Class Fee (Middle & High School): $20 per student, due by September 1st, 2020

Optional (Additional Fees):

  • MSP/Smarter Balanced Testing (Grades 3-12): $25 per math exam; $25 per ELA exam
  • AP Exams (Grades 10-12): $100 per exam
  • Extended Care: $5 per morning, per day; $5 per afternoon, per day.  AM (7:30-8:30) / PM (4:15-6:00).  Times are not pro-rated.
  • Friday Enrichment & Support (8:30AM-4:00PM): $30 per Friday (must sign up for entire month); due 1 month prior to enrollment in class.
  • Friday Pre-K (8:30AM-4:00PM): $30 per Friday (must sign up for an entire month)
  • After School Art Class (1 hour, 30 minutes): $12 per student, per class (must sign up for entire month).  Supplies included.
  • After School Music Classes (TBD)
  • After School Technology Class (1 hour, 30 minutes): $10 per student, per class (must sign up for entire month)
  • After School Robotics Class (1 hour, 30 minutes): $15 per student, per class (must sign up for entire 8 weeks)

How to read the Tuition Rate Table:  For families with multiple children attending, the rate in column 1 will be used for the first child attending, the rate in column 2 for the second child attending, and the rate in column 3 for the third plus child attending.

Annual Tuition Rates:

    • $430 per monthly installment (for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment due no later than August 1, 2020)
  • $4500 for the 2019-2020 school year (Pre-K, Full time)
    • $450 per monthly installment (for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment due no later than August 1, 2020)
  • $2900 for Part-time Pre-K (Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday or Mon-Thur 8:30am-12pm)
    • $290 per monthly installment (for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment due no later than August 1, 2020)

Scholarship Rate

Based on financial need only & limited to available scholarship funds.

  • $3650 for the 2019-2020 school year (K through Grade 12)
  • $365 per monthly installment (for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment due no later than August 1, 2020)
  • $4350 for Full-time Pre-K
  • $435 per monthly installment (for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment due no later than August 1, 2020)
  • $2800 for Part-time Pre-K (Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday or Mon-Thur 8:30am-12pm)
  • $280 per monthly installment (for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment due no later than August 1, 2020)

Families with multiple children have a discounted rate available for their 2nd + enrolling children. Please refer to the annual Tuition Rate Table above.

Parents/guardians requesting the Scholarship Rate will be required to:

  • Complete a financial status/scholarship form,
  • Agree to volunteer .5 hours per week (discussed with and approved by the Director). Volunteer hours must be assigned before the Scholarship Rate is approved (by no later than August 1, 2020).
  • In addition, volunteer fees ($540 per student) must be paid by September 1, 2020 and will then be credited back to family accounts on a monthly basis (with a max credit of .5 hours per school week), upon completion of volunteer hours.

The financial status form will allow the school to provide adequate support to families that are in need of additional funding for their child(ren) to attend.  In addition, volunteering at the school will allow the school to keep from hiring unnecessary staff, allowing as many families as are in need possible access to this rate. 

Mandatory Volunteer Hours

Families paying full rate must volunteer a total of 1 hour per month (annual family fee of $270).  Families receiving a scholarship are required to volunteer 30 minutes per week (annual family fee of $540 per year).  Approved family members/friends are allowed to volunteer in lieu of parents. All volunteers must complete a background check before they start their volunteer hours.  This needs to be completed no later than one week before first volunteer hours are required.

Please choose from the following.  This will be added to your agreement.  This form can be completed on the Online Enrollment Form or the Online Volunteer Form.

Choose one day per week you can commit to every week (Monday-Thursday).  Please make sure you are able to commit to and show up for this day of the week on a consistent basis.  Volunteers must show up on time and be reliable or additional staff will need to be hired and families will not be able to receive the discounted rate.

Enrollments Received after Payment Deadlines

Enrollment packets received after the initial payment deadlines will require all past due fees to be paid before enrollment can be made (including tuition installments).  Tuition installments

Enrollments received after the start of school will receive adjusted tuition installments based on the number of missed scheduled school days.  All missed tuition fees and enrollment fees will be required to be received before enrollment can be made.  Please speak to the school office for specific payment amounts.

Referral Discount

We have been blessed with family referrals that have allowed this ministry to grow!  We want to thank all of the families that have referred Fellowship Christian School to other friends and family.  For the 2020-2021 school year, we will be offering a Referral Discount, available/redeemable after the referred family has attended for four consecutive months (and made 5 consecutive payments)

The Referral Discount will give the family that referred an attending full-time new family a discount of -$150 from one month of owed tuition.  The Referral Discount will give the family that referred an attending part-time new family a discount of -$75 from one month of owed tuition.  This discount only applies to the family doing the referring.  It does not get applied to the new (referred) family’s account.  This discount applies to new, regular rate enrollments only

Withdrawal/Un-enrollment

For student withdrawal/un-enrollment, families are required to give at least one month (30 days) written notice (handed into the school office) and pay for the fees associated with the un-enrollment of their child(ren) (no less than 1/10 of annual tuition or 1 monthly tuition installment).  Families will continue to be billed and incur fees until written notice is turned into the school office by the parent/guardian.  Please do not give these notices to any other teachers/staff.  Due to budget requirements, un-enrollment of a student during the month of May or June will result in no reduction/pro-ration to the annual tuition and fees due.  Full fees and tuition must still be paid. If your family paid in full for the year, the 3% discount that was applied to your account will be added back to your balance and owed, in addition to any card processing fees.

Tuition rates and fees are based on the financial needs of the school (including but not limited to testing, student workbooks, art supplies, electronic resources, office/teacher supplies, curriculum, staffing, etc.) and are subject to change.  We will make every effort to keep our rates as low as possible.

How to read the Tuition Rate Table:  For families with multiple children attending, the rate in column 1 will be used for the first child attending, the rate in column 2 for the second child attending, and the rate in column 3 for the third plus child attending.

Annual Tuition Rates

Regular Rate

  • $3950 for the 2018-2019 school year (Pre-K through Grade 12)
  • $395 per monthly installment (for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment due no later than August 1, 2018)
    • First payment date extended to August 31, 2018; 2nd payment due no later than September 10, 2018.
  • $2700 for Part-time Pre-K (Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday or Mon-Thur 8:30am-12pm)
  • $270 per monthly installment (for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment due no later than August 1, 2018)
    • First payment date extended to August 31, 2018; 2nd payment due no later than September 10, 2018.

Families with more than two students attending Fellowship Christian School receive a discounted tuition cost. The 3rd (plus) full-time student(s) has an annual tuition cost of $3400 ($340 per monthly installment, for 10 consecutive months).

Discounted/Reduced Rate

Based on financial need only & limited to available scholarship funds.

  • $3300 for the 2018-2019 school year (K through Grade 12)
  • $330 per monthly installment (for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment due no later than August 1, 2018)
    • First payment date extended to August 31, 2018; 2nd payment due no later than September 10, 2018.
  • $3550 for Full-time Pre-K
  • $355 per monthly installment (for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment due no later than August 1, 2018)
    • First payment date extended to August 31, 2018; 2nd payment due no later than September 10, 2018.
  • $2450 for Part-time Pre-K (Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday or Mon-Thur 8:30am-12pm)
  • $245 per monthly installment (for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment due no later than August 1, 2018)
    • First payment date extended to August 31, 2018; 2nd payment due no later than September 10, 2018.

Families with more than two students attending Fellowship Christian School receive a discounted tuition cost. The 3rd (plus) full-time student(s) has a tuition cost of $2800 ($280 per monthly increment, for 10 consecutive months; 1st payment starting no later than August 1, 2018).

Parents/guardians requesting the discounted rate will be required to:

  • Complete a financial status/scholarship form,
  • Agree to volunteer .5 hours per week (discussed with and approved by the Director). Volunteer hours must be assigned before the discounted rate is approved (by no later than August 1, 2018).
  • If parents/guardians do not show up for volunteer hours, tuition will be re-billed at regular rate (an addition of $65 per month or $16.25 per no show/no volunteer day).

The financial status form will allow the school to provide adequate support to families that are in need of additional funding for their child(ren) to attend.  In addition, volunteering at the school will allow the school to keep from hiring unnecessary staff, allowing as many families as are in need possible access to this rate. 

Discounted/Reduced Rate Mandatory Volunteer Sign Up:

Please choose from the following.  This will be added to your agreement.  This form can be completed on the Online Enrollment Form or the Online Volunteer Form.

  • Recess Duty
  • Kitchen Help
  • Library
  • School Events
  • Classroom Preparation
  • Cleaning/Janitorial

Choose one day per week you can commit to every week (Monday-Thursday).  Please make sure you are able to commit to and show up for this day of the week on a consistent basis.  Volunteers must show up on time and be reliable or additional staff will need to be hired and families will not be able to receive the discounted rate.

Other Fees

Retreat Fees:

  • 5th Grade Day Retreat: $40 per student (annually)—$40 due by January 1st, 2018.  This fee is for the annual 5th Grade day retreat.  This fee needs to be paid on time in order to help ensure reservations can be booked well in advance.
  • High School Overnight: $75 per student (annually)–$75 due by September 1st, 2018.  This fee is for the annual overnight trip, for the high school class.  If students do not go on the trip, pre-assigned work must be completed from home and is due no later than when we return from the Overnight. This trip is an opportunity for students to come together and pray together, worshipping the Lord in a peaceful place, learning to surrender their lives over to Him.

Class Fees (Electives-Middle & High School Students):

  • Art Fee (Middle & High School): $20 per student, due by September 1st, 2018
  • Culinary Arts Fee (Middle & High School): $20 per student, due by September 1st, 2018
  • Build Fee (Middle & High School): $20 per student, due by September 1st, 2018
  • Drama/Theater Fee (Middle & High School): $20 per student, due by September 1st, 2018
  • Science Lab Kit Fee (Middle & High School): $15 per student, due by September 1st, 2018

Optional (Additional Fees):

  • MSP/Smarter Balanced Testing (Grades 3-12): $25 per math exam; $25 per ELA exam
  • AP Exams (Grades 10-12): $100 per exam
  • Extended Care: $5 per morning, per day; $5 per afternoon, per day.  Full month-$80 for morning and afternoon. AM (7:30-8:30) / PM (4:15-6:00).  Times are not pro-rated.
  • Friday Enrichment & Support (8:30AM-3:00PM): $30 per Friday (must sign up for entire month); due 1 month prior to enrollment in class.
  • Friday Pre-K (8:30AM-3:00PM): $30 per Friday (must sign up for an entire month)
  • After School Art Class (1 hour, 30 minutes): $10 per student, per class (must sign up for entire month).  Students bring their own supplies.
  • After School Music Classes (TBD)
  • After School Technology Class (1 hour, 30 minutes): $10 per student, per class (must sign up for entire month)

Referral Discount:

We have been blessed with family referrals that have allowed this ministry to grow!  We want to thank all of the families that have referred Fellowship Christian School to other friends and family.  For the 2018-2019 school year, we will be offering a Referral Discount, available/redeemable after the referred family has attended for four consecutive months (and made 5 consecutive payments)

The Referral Discount will give the family that referred an attending full-time new family a discount of -$150 from one month of owed tuition.  The Referral Discount will give the family that referred an attending part-time new family a discount of -$75 from one month of owed tuition.  This discount only applies to the family doing the referring.  It does not get applied to the new (referred) family’s account.  This discount applies to new, regular rate enrollments only. 

Withdrawal/Un-enrollment:

For student withdrawal/un-enrollment, families are required to give at least one month (30 days) written notice (handed into the school office) and pay for the fees associated with the un-enrollment of their child(ren) (no less than 1/10 of annual tuition or 1 monthly tuition installment).  Families will continue to be billed and incur fees until written notice is turned into the school office by the parent/guardian.  Please do not give these notices to any other teachers/staff.  Due to budget requirements, un-enrollment of a student during the month of May or June will result in no reduction/pro-ration to the annual tuition and fees due.  Full fees and tuition must still be paid.

Tuition rates and fees are based on the financial needs of the school (including but not limited to testing, student workbooks, art supplies, electronic resources, office/teacher supplies, curriculum, staffing, etc.) and are subject to change.  We will make every effort to keep our rates as low as possible.
