As students venture into the pre-middle school years, their thinking becomes a bit more abstract, allowing for deeper meaning and connections to take place. They have had time for some life experiences and are now able to relate more to what they are learning, giving students the opportunity to become even more fascinated with all that God is doing in and around the world.
From a young age, we teach students to serve. The 4th and 5th grade classes take this a step further by planning a school wide service project.
All students in 4th and 5th grade classes are taught art, music, computers, P.E., world language, as well as library. These classes are taught by specialists. Core subjects also include Bible, science, social studies (history & geography), language arts (grammar, writing & spelling), reading and math.
