Athletic Opportunities:

Fellowship Christian School offers a variety of athletic activities.  Sticking to its mission, Fellowship uses sports ministry to share God’s goodness and truth with the community.  It is a way to reach and love on individuals that are not yet aware of His love or who simply need a reminder, hope and encouragement.  Fellowship Christian School currently partners with the WIAA & the Recreational Basketball League.

Enrollment/Registration:

Enrollment/registration packets for sports are provided below.  Please be sure to turn in forms on time, if you would like your child to participate. If we do not receive forms on time, we are unable to field a team which can result in the loss of a sport.

Athletic Forms:

Required Forms, WIAA Requirements & School Code of Conduct

Participation in sports require:

Students are not allowed to participate without these forms turned in ahead of time.

In order to participate in extra-curricular activities, students must be meeting all eligibility requirements throughout the academic year and season.  Fellowship Christian School will not allow students to participate if they display poor behavior (in any form).  This is an opportunity to further glorify God and to share His truth with the community.  It is therefore necessary to act in a respectful and loving manner, at all times. The athletic code of conduct will be given out in the athletic packets.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SPORTS (Competitive & Recreational)

FCS participation in middle school sports is based on student interest; some *8th grade students are able to play at the High School Varsity level.

Middle School opportunities include:

  • Volleyball (7th & 8th grade)
  • Basketball (*8th grade school team at the high school level or 6th-8th recreational team)
  • Track & Field (8th grade at the high school level)

* Not all 8th grade students will qualify for varsity team sports, but are welcome to try out for the school team. Varsity team sports are played at the high school level and are subject to WIAA & school requirements.

Practices & Games:

Most practices and games take place during the school week, after school. Games usually take place during the school week, as well. Practices and Games are occasionally scheduled on Fridays. Games and practices are never scheduled on Sundays. High School varsity sports require a large commitment. Student athletes on the varsity team are required to attend every practice and game. This will more than likely include Monday-Friday practice and/or games. Volleyball games have predominantly been scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays (but several also fall on other days) and basketball games have been predominately scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Our current practice facilities are located in Marysville and Mukilteo. Most basketball practices currently occur in Marysville.

WIAA/Team Costs:

Costs per participant and per sport range from $200-$250.  This does not cover any coaching costs. Coaches at FCS volunteer their time and are not paid.

The athletic fee includes the cost of tournaments, facilities, gas, equipment and uniforms. The fees do not come close to covering all of these costs, so fundraisers are also required, to help offset the costs.

  • WIAA Sports fees get paid to Fellowship Christian School via Quickbooks.

Uniforms must be returned at the completion of each season. Per WIAA rules, they are not allowed to worn outside of the athletic season.
